Javier Garcia is a member of our Consumer Products, Retail, and Strategy practices, where he helps top companies drive growth through strategy, technology, and advanced analytics.
He advises large retailers and consumer goods companies on growth strategy, eCommerce acceleration, marketing effectiveness, and customer loyalty. Javier has led multiple engagements designing and scaling end-to-end customer initiatives, leveraging consumer data and personalization to increase engagement, retention, and lifetime value. His work also includes defining growth strategies, expanding adjacent business ecosystems, and implementing performance transformation programs to materially improve ROI. He is known for combining rigorous strategic thinking with hands-on execution across diagnosis, solution design, and implementation.
Before joining Bain, Javier held senior roles in the Mexican federal government. Earlier in his career, he worked in finance at a leading investment bank.
He holds an MBA from London Business School, where he graduated on the Dean’s List, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, summa cum laude, from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
Outside of work, Javier is a husband and the proud father of a son and a daughter.
