Luigi Corleto

Luigi Corleto is a member of Bain's EMEA Energy & Natural Resources and Utilities & Renewables practices.

Luigi has more than 10 years of consulting experience, in addition to nearly 20 years in the power and gas industry. His key areas of expertise include power generation, renewable energy, wholesale gas power market architecture and gas midstream.

Luigi has advised a range of clients including international utilities, power generators and technology vendors as well as both national and international oil companies (NOCs/IOCs) on entry and growth strategies, M&A and performance improvement.

He is one of Bain’s experts on gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) portfolio strategy. He actively contributes to the development of Bain’s capabilities in advising both gas and LNG buyers and sellers.

Prior to joining Bain in 2006, Luigi worked as a project engineer for Mitsubishi Electric, as well as an R&D engineer for the Japan Atomic Power Company in Tokyo.

Luigi holds an MBA from MIP Politecnico di Milano and a degree in nuclear engineering.
