Tom Oliphant

Tom has many years of experience in PE advisory, primarily focused on due diligence and growth strategy. He has deep experience across the healthcare value chain, including providers, healthcare IT, and payer/provider services.

Before Bain, Tom led Strategic Planning and Operations as an executive at Intercom, a venture-backed customer service SaaS provider with $200M+ ARR, through a multi-year period of significant revenue and operational scaling.

Before that, Tom was a consultant at another top consulting firm, with deep experience in private equity and healthcare. He received his MBA with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his BA in economics and history from Stanford.

In his personal time, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, trail running, and is a diehard baseball fan.
