Austin Beck

Austin Beck is a member of our Telecommunications practice and lead product developer for our Lumi platform.

He has seven years of telco industry experience, during which he helped optimize and operate wireless and wireline networks at a major U.S. telco. He is now responsible for developing capabilities and helping clients unlock value using Bain's Lumi platform, which offers our global clients deeply detailed customer, competitive, and network data and insights.

His core case work includes:

• Engineering capex, sales, and marketing models that enabled a household-level consumer segmentation;
• Uncovering significant, tangible, deal-upside in residential fiber asset diligence;
• Developing and deploying s telco asset monetization model in the U.S. and Australia.

Prior to joining us, Austin held a variety of roles at AT&T, spanning network planning, corporate strategy, product marketing and field operations.

Austin holds an MBA from McCombs School of Business and a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University.
