Boeing buys company that's developing flying taxis for Uber

Boeing is set to acquire Aurora Flight Sciences, a company working with Uber to develop autonomous aircraft the tech giant could one day operate as air taxis. While automation is going to be critical to the commercial side of the aerospace industry, there has been a much quicker adaptation with defense, said Jim Harris, a partner with Bain & Company.
