In a report, Bain & Company recently said that investors would only benefit from the adoption of new agricultural technologies once they have ensured developing countries have reaped the benefits of the previous wave of innovation. Once this is done though, there is immense wealth trapped inside these agricultural value chains, according to Jose de Sa, a partner with Bain and an author of the report.
