For nearly 10 years running, Bain & Company clinches a top spot on Glassdoor’s best places to work ranking

FOR NEARLY 10 YEARS RUNNING, Bain & Company CLINCHES A TOP SPOT On Glassdoor's Best Places to Work Ranking

Employees tout opportunities to work on the world's most pressing business issues in a highly supportive environment

Boston – Dec. 10, 2015 – For the second year in a row, Bain & Company clinched the No. 2 spot on Glassdoor's 2016 Best Places to Work list, which is based solely on reviews from "the people who know these companies best – their employees," according to Glassdoor. Bain is among an influential set of organizations, including many entrepreneurial and technology companies such as Airbnb, Google, Facebook and LinkedIn. The firm has been in the top four every year since the ranking began in 2008, including multiple times at No. 1, and remains the only consulting firm in the top five.

"We are incredibly proud that Bain has once again been recognized atop Glassdoor's Best Places to Work list," said Russ Hagey, Bain's Chief Talent Officer. "Every day our employees are excited to come to work alongside talented and down-to-earth colleagues. They are equally energized by opportunities to collaborate with our global clients to deliver impressive results."

Bain employees tout the firm's unparalleled career opportunities, including the potential to gain extensive international experience working with multinational executives and through cross-office teaming, overseas transfers and global trainings. More than half of Bain employees worked internationally last year.

Employees also highlight the personal and professional satisfaction of working side-by-side with the world's top leaders and the most influential organizations and brands to solve their toughest challenges and create meaningful, lasting impact. Bain's deep industry expertise and focus on results continues to drive its business success; the firm's revenue once again grew at double-digit rates in 2015, creating career opportunities for employees.

Reviews on Glassdoor describe Bain's investment in its people and supportive culture, which are additional drivers of employee satisfaction. Bain ensures employees have the tools and opportunities to realize their career aspirations at the firm or beyond. The firm's alumni have translated their experience into starting successful businesses, stepping into senior leadership roles at top firms across a wide range of industries, joining private equity firms and leading non-profit organizations.

"The learning curve at Bain is steep, but our investment in training and on-the-job coaching creates countless opportunities for personal and professional growth. This experience equips employees to have an impact on the global stage – whether within the firm, in the C-suite or in the social sector," said Hagey.

The annual Glassdoor ranking is based on reviews from employees who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environment and key workplace attributes, such as compensation, culture and values, senior management and work-life balance. The complete list is available at Best Places to Work in 2016.
