He focuses on upstream operations and portfolio optimization, with over 15 years of experience advising energy clients on strategy, capital allocation, and data-driven decision making. Brian brings deep expertise in development planning, unconventional asset evaluation, and integrated technology valuation.

Prior to joining our firm, Brian spent 25 years at ExxonMobil, where he held executive roles and led upstream operations across multiple international assignments. He also held consulting roles at S&P Global and another global consulting firm, with a focus on operational assessment, fiscal engineering, and decision support. His recent work includes portfolio design, technology valuation, and quantitative modeling to guide capital investments and improve enterprise performance.

Brian holds a Ph.D. in Oceanography from the University of Washington and a bachelor's degree in Geophysics and Applied Mathematics from Brown University.
