Eliza Kennedy (Liza) is a partner based in Bain & Company’s Boston office. She is an expert in the firm’s Customer Strategy & Marketing and Retail practices.

Liza primarily advises clients on value proposition innovation, customer experience and marketing excellence, including digital marketing, promotional effectiveness and in-market testing.

Within the retail space, she is deeply versed in all aspects of strategy-led transformations, particularly brand strategy, assortment, pricing, store and footprint optimization, operations and functional operating model. Her client portfolio includes general merchandise and mass retailers, warehouse clubs, as well grocery stores and restaurants.

Prior to joining Bain in 2011, Liza was the Vice President of National Recruitment at Teach For America. She also served as a Teach For America corps member in the Rio Grande Valley, where she taught high school social studies.

She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Yale University, where she was a four-year athlete on the varsity rowing team.
