Severin Baumann

Severin is a member of our Private Equity and Advanced Manufacturing & Services practices.

He has extensive due diligence experience across a range of industries, with a particular focus on industrials, energy, and business services. His work supports both financial sponsors and corporate clients in making informed investment and strategic decisions.

Before joining the San Francisco office, Severin worked in our Zurich and Melbourne offices. Beyond his client work, Severin is a co-founder and current leader of the Bain's International Community in the Bay Area.

Outside of work, he is an avid skier and hiker, and is an active home cook. He holds an MSc from Bocconi University and a BA in Economics from the University of Zurich.
