Press release
LONDON – Feb. 6, 2020 - Bain & Company has once again expanded its partner group in the German-speaking region. On February 1, 2020, Klaus Kremers joined Bain & Company’s Performance Improvement practice. Based in Berlin, he’ll lead Bain’s Accelerated Transformation practice in the German-speaking countries and co-lead in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
In the past year, Bain & Company has further expanded its strong position among the world's leading strategy consultancies. And its market share is expected to increase in 2020 as well. "The prerequisite for this is a strong partner group," said Walter Sinn, managing partner of Bain & Company in Germany. "I’m pleased that with Klaus we have gained a colleague who has already been working successfully in the international consulting business for many years". Kremers is a proven transformation and turnaround expert with more than 20 years of consulting experience.
Current developments such as climate-neutral emission targets, trade conflicts and digitalization, are forcing companies to rethink their business models and transform more than ever before.
"Companies should react to these complex challenges in a holistic way and also question their strategic positioning," said Mr. Kremers. "At the same time, it is important to build up new capabilities and strengthen earnings and financial power. A transformation must quickly lead to measurable and sustainable results.”
Prior to joining Bain, Mr. Kremers worked for various top consulting firms and accompanied international clients through large-scale transformations, particularly in the industrials and private equity sectors. Kremers studied European Business Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Worms and at the University of South Alabama, USA. He completed his MBA at the NIMBAS Graduate School of Management with study visits to the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands.
