Allyship Workshops

Allyship Workshops

Engaging allies is critical to our mission of fostering inclusion within our Bain community.

Successfully building inclusive communities requires learning the best, most effective ways to support and engage one another. Learning and development are vital aspects of Bain's culture, so we're excited to cultivate those aspects by formalizing allies for our six diversity and affinity groups, including Blacks at Bain (BABs) and Latinx at Bain (LATBA).

Bain's diversity and affinity groups collaborate with our Unconscious Bias & Inclusion team to co-sponsor these Allyship workshops. Most recently, our San Francisco/Silicon Valley and New York office collaborated to create and present content with the aim of equipping attendees with the skills for effective allyship.

Allyship workshops tackled three main objectives:

  • Allying participants to practice using an allyship toolkit
  • Learning how to respond when an ally offers feedback
  • Learning how to help teammates and friends feel more included

Stay tuned as these workshops expand to many of our offices across the country, and check our upcoming Diversity Connect editions to find out ways you can participate in our Allyship initiative!
