Andrea has more than 20 years of consulting experience with Bain. He advises clients on issues ranging from strategy to operations across all retail and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors within EMEA and APAC.
Andrea holds deep expertise in topics including pricing and promotions, salesforce effectiveness, M&A, post-merger integration, temporary and category management, competitive benchmarking and supply chain, as well as omnichannel, international growth, PL, customer and online strategy.
He is well versed in logistic footprint review, cost reduction, fidelity programs, store format and brand portfolio optimization, organization, route-to-market redesign, due diligence and trade spending, as well as the development of new concepts, formats and markets.
His core sectors of expertise include hypermarkets, supermarkets, C&C, discounters, department and apparel specialty stores, DIY, furniture and perfumery, as well as consumer electronics and food retailing and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Bain, Andrea worked for Nestlé and another management consulting firm.
He holds a degree in statistics and economics from the University of Bologna.
