Brian Paul Murphy is a member of our Procurement practice leadership team and Bain’s global leader for digital procurement transformation.
With over 15+ years of procurement transformation experience, Brian has deep expertise in steering Source-to-Pay technology transformations while supporting Bain’s private equity clients in their due diligence processes for procurement technology assets.
Brian supports Fortune 500 organizations across the Americas and Europe, delivering large-scale cost reduction and working capital optimization programs. Brian also supports clients in shaping their procurement strategies, setting up robust category and supplier management programs, and transforming their organizational and operating model designs.
Brian’s experience spans across industries, including oil and gas, utilities, pharma, retail, aerospace & defense, and industrial manufacturing.
In addition to his client work, he is an active member of our BGLAD at Bain affinity group.
He holds an MBA from Tulane University Freeman School of Business.
