David Conroy

David is a member of our Energy & Natural Resources practice with over 25 years of management consulting experience. He has worked extensively with Oil & Gas super-majors, majors and independents across the world, from corporate headquarters to remote asset settings.

Although David's work spans the full energy value chain, he also specializes in upstream oil & gas with a particular focus on front-end value creation activities and driving sustained performance improvement from existing operations. More recently, David's work has branched into energy transition, notably addressing the complexities of balancing capital investment between heritage hydrocarbon and new energy portfolios.

David is a passionate advocate for the role of the oil & gas industry in meeting the challenges of the energy transition while also responsibly providing energy and fueling economic development across the globe.

Originally from the UK, David graduated from the University of Leeds in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree and has been based in Houston, Texas, since 2010.
