Doug Truchan

Doug Truchan is the Americas market co-leader for our Procurement practice, Design to Cost solution offering; responsible for identifying and managing solution offering, developing co-selling and co-delivery partners, ensuring tool availability and training.

Doug brings over 15 years of procurement, supply chain, and operations expertise to our Performance Improvement team across the industrial manufacturing, retail, technology, and aerospace sectors.

He has a focus on delivering operational improvement solutions for our global clients. Solutions focus on operations, supply chain, procurement, mergers/acquisitions, sales & operations planning. He has also led multiple procurement and operational improvement engagements focused on strategic sourcing, category management, operating model, and supply chain optimization.

Prior to joining Bain, he held supply chain operations roles at Terex Corporation, The Boeing Company and two other leading consulting firms.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in aerospace sciences, a Master of Science in finance, and a Master of Business Administration. In addition, he has procurement and supply chain certifications including CPSM (Institute for Supply Management) and CSCP (ASCM).
