Since joining Bain in 1998, he has gained extensive experience in the retail, transport, tourism and media industries.
Xavier advises clients in a range of retail categories, including food, consumer electronics, apparel and shoes, furniture and home equipment across formats such as hypermarkets, department stores, specialized retail and e-commerce. He has also conducted strategic due diligences for private equity funds.
Xavier holds deep expertise across issues including strategy development (vision & mission, portfolio strategy, growth strategy, full potential strategy, business unit strategy), mergers & acquisitions, customer strategy (segmentation, value proposition development, category management, customer experience), CAPEX optimization, assets management and operational improvements.
