About Caroline

Caroline Detalle leads our global industry marketing practice. She closely collaborates with our global practice leaders across all industries.

Caroline develops marketing strategies aligned with our firm's business priorities and ensures their implementation through marketing. Her areas of expertise include business development, marketing and digital strategy, as well as both external and corporate communication planning, including PR and partnerships.

In 1994, Caroline joined the firm in Paris to create and develop our Marketing and Communications function. She then assumed marketing development leadership across the Middle East and Turkey, expanding our firm presence while working there.

Recently, she headed our regional marketing and communications efforts across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In this capacity, she coordinated local marketing initiatives for more than 20 offices and managed marketing for our regional practices.

Caroline is also deeply ingrained in our alumni community management and Environment, Social & Corporate Governance (ESG) efforts.

Caroline is an active member of our professional women's network, Womxn at Bain. She is also a founding member of the largest European professional women's network, for which she served as a board member for seven years.

She currently co-manages our Paris Social Impact team, overseeing our local pro bono activities.

Prior to joining the firm, she developed extensive experience in shaping and implementing marketing and both internal and external communications for various groups. Her professional background spans countries and industries, including financial services, defense, industrial goods and services and professional services.

Caroline is an authority on business development and account management, crisis communications, brand and reputation management, digital marketing and social media.

Caroline is a CELSA graduate and holds a B.A. from Sorbonne University.

She is an active member of a communications director's network that serves international groups and frequently gives lectures on marketing in professional services for business school students.
