WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Vector is Bain’s digital delivery platform, encompassing our AI, Insights & Solutions (AIS) and Enterprise Technology capabilities. These teams drive Bain’s work across generative AI, digital transformation, and innovation.
You’ll join our Vector Talent & Operations team supporting a growing community of professionals across product management, design, analytics, and engineering. In this multidisciplinary environment, you’ll partner closely with guild leadership, commercial leaders, and delivery teams to help scale world-class talent operations and team experiences across Bain’s digital capabilities practice.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Senior Manager, Vector Program Management, you’ll play a key role in supporting Bain’s regional Vector delivery organization. You’ll partner closely with the Regional Talent Lead, guild leadership, commercial leadership, and program management teams to oversee staffing, professional development, performance management, and employee experience initiatives for delivery team members across technical guilds.
This is a highly collaborative role that combines talent strategy, operational excellence, and people leadership in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Delivery Team Staffing
- Develop a strong understanding of Bain’s case team staffing model and how Vector experts contribute to client impact
- Staff delivery team members effectively and efficiently by balancing client needs, professional development goals, and business priorities
- Partner with Bain Partners, Managers, and practice leadership on thoughtful staffing decisions and workforce planning
- Communicate staffing decisions clearly and proactively to stakeholders
- Ensure staffing processes and policies are transparent, consistent, and fair
- Maintain accurate staffing and resource management data
Program & Guild Management
- Build trusted relationships with delivery team members and provide coaching on career development and growth opportunities
- Monitor project assignments to ensure individuals gain diverse experiences and meaningful development opportunities
- Support performance management processes, including case-end reviews, feedback quality, and evaluation discussions
- Partner with guild leadership to coordinate trainings, team meetings, and development initiatives
- Help foster a strong sense of community and engagement across technical guilds
Employee Experience
- Collaborate with leadership, Recruiting, and HR teams to onboard and integrate new hires successfully
- Monitor employee engagement metrics and support initiatives that improve team experience and retention
- Maintain awareness of regional and local team sentiment and proactively address areas of concern
- Partner with HR Business Partners and guild leaders to strengthen office culture and employee support systems
Talent Strategy
- Support the Regional Talent Lead in developing and executing talent strategy initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve staffing processes and operational effectiveness
- Contribute to global staffing and workforce initiatives as needed
- Collaborate with staffing and talent management peers across regions
ABOUT YOU
- 8+ years of professional experience, preferably within consulting or professional services environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Liberal Arts, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA preferred
- Experience in staffing, HR, talent management, or professional development is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong emotional intelligence with a collaborative, flexible, and service-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Working Model
This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence.
