Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools
Bain now uses secure AI tools as standard across its business to improve efficiency in areas such as data summarization and synthesis. Any such use is designed to enhance quality and speed, not to replace human judgment, expertise, or decision-making. We will ensure that we have legally binding obligations in place with our tool providers to prevent them from using client data to train their models or otherwise improve their tools. Further, all use of AI within Bain will take place in accordance with our AI Responsible Use Policy, which we can provide a copy of.
Notwithstanding anything in the applicable Agreement, Engagement Letter or Statement of Work, Client agrees that Bain may use tools that utilize AI capabilities and input Client Confidential Information to such tools without further disclosure or consent, provided that Bain does not use Client Confidential Information provided hereunder to train or improve any public models.
Bain's Proprietary Tools
As part of the project Bain is performing for Client, Bain may use one or more of the proprietary tools listed below, and may, at its sole discretion, give Client access to such tools. Notwithstanding anything in the applicable Agreement, Engagement Letter or Statement of Work, Bain’s use of these of tools, and any access or use of the tools by Client, shall be governed solely by the relevant terms set out below:
