WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join our Pyxis team, Bain’s proprietary data analytics and market intelligence group. Pyxis helps B2C companies unlock growth by combining alternative data, proprietary insights, and expert analytics to generate powerful, practical insights. You’ll collaborate closely with Bain teams and clients to deliver high-impact solutions rooted in data, working side-by-side with consulting teams in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous, and collaborative environment.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
In this role, you’ll support both Bain case teams and external clients by leading the execution of custom analytics assignments. Your work will help inform strategic decisions and shape solutions across a range of client issues. You’ll be part of a growing and ambitious team that sits at the intersection of data and strategy, with a direct line of impact on client outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Translate business needs into analytical projects by collaborating with Bain teams or external clients to define scope and feasibility

• Conduct data structuring, modeling, and analysis using large-scale datasets to generate accurate and actionable insights

• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous quality checks and comparisons to industry benchmarks or estimates

• Partner with Pyxis colleagues on more advanced analytics projects, leveraging statistical or machine learning techniques where relevant

• Deliver outputs clearly and confidently to consulting teams and clients, addressing follow-up questions and requests for further analysis

ABOUT YOU

• 1–5 years of experience working with large datasets or data models to generate business insights

• 1–2 years in a client-facing role, ideally in a consulting, analytics, or high-performance business setting

• Strong technical proficiency in SQL and Python

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy

• Ability to translate technical findings into business implications

• Strong communication skills in English—both written and verbal

• Undergraduate degree in business, computer science, econometrics, or a related analytical discipline

WORKING MODEL
This role is based in Mexico and follows a hybrid working model. In-person collaboration with Bain teams is expected at least one day per week in our Polanco office.
