How the Power of Building Relationships Led an Advanced Analytics Duo to join the Bain Family

Robert Cercos and Juan Pablo (JP) Garcia both studied industrial engineering at Universidad de Chile, but didn’t meet until they worked at LATAM Airlines in Chile. Remaining connected after both chose to pursue their advanced degrees, the idea to start the advanced analytics business, Spike SpA, sparked through mutual connections throughout their journeys.

Spike SpA, a leading provider of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions, was acquired by Bain earlier this year allowing Robert and JP to expand their team, support larger-scale clients, and join the Bain family. They’re now able to provide data solutions for our clients as well as opportunities for advanced analytics and machine learning experts to expand their career options and dive into consultancy.
