Share your journey to Bain.
My first experience at Bain was in 2022, when I participated in the BEL program in the Chicago office. It was an incredibly enriching experience and a great introduction to consulting. I returned to Bain as an intern in 2023 and loved it, which ultimately led me to join as an Associate Consultant in September 2024. Since then, I’ve been a member of Bain’s Private Equity Group (PEG).
How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
Bain felt like the right place for me because of the incredible flexibility the firm offers and how openly everyone speaks about it. From Externship opportunities that let you pursue something different for six months, to internal rotations in exciting Bain groups like Macro Trends, or even a six-month international transfer, the flexibility to explore is truly embedded in Bain’s way of working.
Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?
Work at Bain is inherently impactful because of who receives and acts on your work, and that’s incredibly energizing. You get to see how what you build becomes part of the cohesive solution that clients are looking for.
