How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?

It may sound like a somewhat overused sentiment but it really is the people that make Bain such an enjoyable place to work. While the firm is full of driven people that challenge you to constantly learn and grow, it’s the supportiveness of the people at Bain that I’ve found to be truly unique in a working environment! Despite everyone’s busy schedules I’m yet to meet someone who hasn’t been willing to give their time to offer support as a friend, mentor, or in a professional capacity.

Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?

The level of impact that we can drive through our work is something that became apparent pretty quickly after joining Bain. The generalist structure of Bain case teams means that your academic, personal, & professional experiences are often leveraged to provide different perspectives on the most challenging of client problems – often showing how invaluable your personal perspective can be in driving impactful results for our clients.

Over the course of my journey at Bain, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some wonderful teams on problems that I personally find interesting. In particular, I’ve been able to pursue my interests through work on strategy cases across the sustainability, energy, & natural resources sectors – something that I’m excited to pursue further!

Share some of your favorite work (personal or professional) you’ve done while at Bain.

One of my favourite cases that I’ve worked on so far was actually my first case at Bain, where our team worked on a pro-bono case to help an organization develop a strategy on air pollution. Working on a case that was rooted in the impacts of air pollution on communities worldwide was an incredibly rewarding experience and served as a wonderful introduction to the type of work that Bain can offer.
