Shafik Wazzan

Shafik Wazzan is a member of our Performance Improvement and Advanced Manufacturing & Services practices, bringing a wealth of experience in transforming industrial operations and supply chains.

Shafik has partnered with industrial clients on a variety of challenges, including operations reinvention and supply chain optimization. He has successfully led multi-plant, four-wall optimization programs, playing a pivotal role in establishing and managing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives while spearheading cost-reduction strategies. Recently, he has also guided large-scale, complex integrations within the industrials sector, setting up Integration Management Offices (IMOs) to unlock cost and revenue synergies.

Before joining Bain, Shafik worked as a Supply Chain Engineer at an oil & gas services company, where he cultivated a deep passion for solving complex operational and supply chain challenges in industrial environments.

Shafik holds an MBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB). Originally from Lebanon, he now resides in Boston with his wife and son.
