The number of devices connected to telecommunication networks (the so-called 'Internet of Things') is growing exponentially. In this environment, a telecom operator could be more than just a medium. Instead, it could become a provider of a broad range of services. As soon as operators start selling ready solutions adjusted to the needs and the digital lifestyles of their subscribers instead of bare access to telecommunication services, we will find ourselves in a new world.
