MANNY MACEDA: What's surprising about this year's forum is—it's almost the uniform optimism, economically. I would have expected anxiety about a lot of the issues that are challenging the world—the fracturing, globalization, challenge vs. nationalization, perhaps security issues. But at least in terms of business prognosis, expectations, people are using the term here "synchronous growth." Every major region is looking forward optimistically, which probably means it's time for me to get anxious. But right now, out here, the message is it's good times all around the world.
