Karim Henain

Karim Henain is the leader of our Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice in the Middle East and a recognized expert in the region’s Automotive & Mobility sector. He also plays a pivotal role in our Organization practice, which has a distinctive focus on human capital development across the region.

Karim has over 15 years of consulting experience across the EMEA region. He is recognized for his work with a broad set of clients, including governmental entities, development and investment funds, family businesses, and multinational corporations. He supports clients on topics such as sector development, value chain localization, growth strategy, performance improvement, workforce development, digital and operating model transformation, and sustainable value creation.

In the automotive and mobility space, he advises major regional players— including investors, OEMs, distributors, and mobility operators—across the full value chain. He helps clients shape growth strategies, drive operational excellence, and future-proof their organizations amid a rapidly evolving industry landscape.

Karim also has deep expertise in labor market dynamics and human capital strategy, advising national champions and leading public institutions on sectoral skills development, employability initiatives, and performance-driven organizational change supporting long-term economic transformation agendas.

He holds a BSc in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, summa cum laude, from The American University in Cairo.
