Bain & Company Partner Volkan Kara says that recent incentives have resulted in a lot of activity in the information technology sector. He notes that, at $27, per capital expenditure on IT services in Turkey is around 5 to 10% of the average in OECD countries. “A significant increase in demand on the domestic market has meant that a lot of startup and well-established firms in the sector are looking to utilize information technology sources from abroad,” he says.
