Share your journey to Bain.
I started exploring consulting at the University of Washington through student organizations, first as an individual contributor at a locally owned business and eventually as a project lead across clients of various sizes and industries. I knew I wanted to pursue consulting following graduation and joined a management consulting firm's Performance Improvement practice for a year before Bain.
How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
Throughout my recruiting journey, I felt drawn to Bain's highly collaborative and development-focused culture. The firm invests heavily in the growth and mentorship of their employees, both professionally and personally. Home office case teams and dedicated staffing managers are a just a few examples of how Bain promotes connectivity and the development of their team members.

Some of my favorite work at Bain was with a large food and beverage retailer, where we rethought its franchising strategy across in-store standards and the financial health of its portfolio. Our case focused on the teams supporting store operations, redesigning their engagement model with franchisees to better tie positive customer outcomes to economic incentives.
