How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
Every since I met my first Bainie at Notre Dame, I felt that Bain was different. I took my discernment seriously in college, and Bain continually stood out among other opportunities. I believe that there is no other place that offers a significant capacity to learn and grow while being a part of a community that truly cares about you and your wellbeing. I work on challenging problems that change the way the top businesses in the world operate. At the same time, my fellow Bainies bring out the best in me and push me to be better every day.
Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?
I would not be at Bain if I did not believe that our work was genuinely impactful and left our clients better than we found them. From pro-bono cases with leading non-profits to strategy cases that transform the way our clients create value, there is a great potential for truly good work to be done at Bain.

I have done some pretty incredible work with AI, helping companies understand how they can use AI agents to automate different parts of their business. This work has enabled our clients to stay at the forefront of their industry, implementing AI solutions into particularly manual tasks that allow employees to focus more on tasks that truly drive value.
What advice would you give a candidate who is interested in recruiting for consulting?
Throughout your recruiting journey, it is critical to bring your whole self to each coffee chat, info session, and interview. This advice to be yourself may be cliché, but as I learned through my recruiting experience, it was what enabled me to receive an offer. While recruiting for the ACI position, I often painted a picture of who I thought Bain wanted me to be rather than who I was. When I began to recruiting for the full time AC position, I decided I would be my authentic self in each interaction I had with Bain, and this change in mindset allowed me to be a more confident and capable candidate. We want to know who you truly are, and so make sure to showcase your unique interests, passions, and ways of thinking as you go through the recruiting process.
