I joined Bain as an ACI out of undergrad at MIT in 2015 and returned full-time in 2016. I then went to Columbia Business School in their January term program in January 2020 and returned in summer of 2021.
How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
I loved every conversation that I had with Bainie's, and Bain was where I felt the most natural speaking to many different people. I also felt that Bainie's were the most invested in both my career and me as a person.
Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?
There are many ways to have an impact at Bain from work in our Social Impact practice with our fabulous partners, to being involved in Green Team or Adopt-an-Org. Last year, I sponsored our partnership with Billion Oyster Project in New York, an organization with a fabulous mission and doing amazing restoration work in the New York Harbor.
“Build Your Own Bain” means creating a thriving career on your own terms. How have you been able to “Build Your Own Bain?”
I loved the opportunity to work internally in our Sustainability and Responsibility (S&R) practice for 6 months during a time when I needed to avoid travel for a bit. I have also made long-term mentors in folks who I look-up to and want to work with so I am able to work on the types of cases that most excite me long term.

Deciding what work-life sustainability means for each person and how to make the job work for you by taking risks and having open conversations with my teams has been a major unlock.
