How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
As cliché as it sounds, it really was the people. While recruiting, through both virtual and in-person events, I was able to meet Bainies who were not only incredibly smart, but also genuinely welcoming and supportive. During my internship, I experienced that same culture firsthand - from the teams I worked with to my intern class, many of whom I became close with outside of work. Now, as an Associate Consultant, I continue to benefit from both formal and informal mentorship and have built friendships across the firm, which has reaffirmed that Bain was the right choice for me.
Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?
Impact is central to my experience at Bain - both through casework and my involvement in Extra 10s. On my teams, there is a consistent focus on delivering meaningful outcomes for clients while also creating a positive and supportive team environment. My mentors regularly check in, challenge me, and help me grow, which has been incredibly motivating. Outside of casework, my involvement in Women at Bain and recruiting has been especially exciting, as it allows me to connect with new people every day and contribute to the broader Bain community.
“Build Your Own Bain” means creating a thriving career on your own terms. How have you been able to “Build Your Own Bain?”
I’ve been able to 'Build My Own Bain' by staying open to new opportunities and being intentional about the experiences I pursue. Early on, that meant exploring a range of industries through general consulting, as well as working in the Private Equity Group. Along the way, I’ve connected, both formally and organically, with mentors who inspire me and offer thoughtful guidance. I’ve also enjoyed getting involved in Extra 10s that align with what matters most to me. Most importantly, I’ve built a strong community within my AC class, who have been foundational to my Bain experience.
