How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
Before Bain, I worked in the nonprofit space, focusing on college admissions and student success. Supporting candidates was at the heart of everything I did. In that role, I partnered closely with Bain’s DC office, where the team consistently showed up for our students—regardless of where they were in the recruiting process.
That experience left a lasting impression. When an opportunity opened in the Houston office, I didn’t hesitate. I had already seen the care, commitment, and high standards that define Bain’s approach to recruiting, and I wanted to be part of it.
I believe recruiting is the face of Bain. Creating an environment where candidates feel welcomed, supported, and confident is essential. After joining the Texas team, it became clear that this commitment is real—every candidate who submits an application is met with intention and care. That’s when I knew Bain was the right place for me.
Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?
The impact is tangible. Through programs like BEL and CREW, I’ve seen firsthand how Bain invests in candidates and shapes their experiences. Hearing their stories—and why they ultimately choose Bain—makes the work deeply meaningful.
Bain engages candidates early, from coffee chats to case prep, and I’ve had the opportunity to help bring many of those touchpoints to life. When candidates reflect on those experiences as part of their journey, it underscores the real influence of the role.
These moments may seem small, but they build over time. They shape each candidate’s story—and when it comes time to advocate for them, that responsibility feels both real and rewarding.

While my time at Bain has been relatively short, I’ve had the opportunity to take ownership of key parts of the recruiting process. Leading the Texas ACI recruiting cycle and the BEL program end-to-end gave me a clear view into the intention behind every step of the candidate experience.
What stands out most is the ability to design experiences that meet candidates where they are. Structuring events, interviews, and touchpoints for individuals with different backgrounds and needs has been especially meaningful—it reflects how deeply Bain invests in setting people up for success.
One of the most rewarding aspects of the role is creating spaces where candidates feel comfortable being themselves, asking honest questions, and seeing that Bain truly values who they are. Whether coordinating interviews, planning programs, or working behind the scenes, I’ve valued being part of a team that is so thoughtful about the impact we have on every individual.
