Share your journey to Bain.
I have worked in multiple areas since joining Bain in 2014, with my primary focus being data science and machine learning. I’ve also led the Asia-Pacific Advanced Analytics Group Private Equity ringfence for two years. The journey has been fulfilling with much learning, growth, and amazing set of mentors.
How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
Bain was one of the coveted firms for me due to its global nature. I’ve been able to travel the world due to my work profile. Before joining the firm, I worked at another consulting firm, but joined Bain because I wanted to join a firm where analytics was one of its pillars and not a support system. I wasn’t keen on product companies as this provide limited client and industry exposure.
Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?
Yes, I’ve been able to do impactful work at Bain. The opportunities I’m currently excited about are the cases where I get to focus on generative AI. Apart from this, I also see opportunities in areas of location intelligence and cloud computing. At Bain, we’re making sure we’re at the forefront of adopting the latest technologies and training our leadership in these new areas.

Our annual Advanced Analytics Group offsites are always great fun. We get to meet our colleagues across the global, see exciting places and learn the latest in different regions.
Professionally, I’ve enjoyed my opportunity to lead the Asia-Pacific Advanced Analytics Group Private Equity ringfence. This rotation gave me a glimpse of the private equity industry and our capabilities in this area. Generative AI is another area I’m quite excited about. I’ve recently joined this team and am to become an expert in artificial intelligence.
