I started at Bain as an AC in September 2023, ~3 months after graduating from WashU.
At WashU, I was involved in a variety of extracurriculars. I was a campus tour guide, played ultimate frisbee, TA'd for a few Finance classes, led our campus chapter of Rem & Company, and helped develop WashU's case interview prep curriculum.
Between graduating and starting at Bain, I explored my passion for food and worked as a chef at an up-scale Poke restaurant.
How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
I knew Bain was the right company for me from the first coffee chat I had with a Bainie; I instantly felt the level of passion they had for their work, but also the quality of person they were. From that moment, I knew that Bain was a place I could feel inspired on a day-to-day basis, while enjoying spending time around my colleagues.

During my first few months at Bain, I was staffed to a 'strategic repositioning' project with a grocery client. This chain had faced pretty significant challenges over the prior ~5 years, with consumer perception at a real low due to frequent price hikes and limited investment in store appearance.
Our work focused on building the business case to invest meaningfully in reducing grocery prices and other elements of the value proposition.
Since, I've been able to see my work play out, as news outlets have started to pick up the story about price reductions at the chain.
