Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?
I’ve felt the impact of my work most clearly during a strategy case for a regional automotive manufacturer. We were helping the client with scenario planning for future growth, which meant grappling with a complex mix of internal dynamics, industry shifts, global geopolitical uncertainty, and evolving consumer behavior. It was powerful to see how the models and indicators we built directly shaped the client’s decision-making. That experience showed me how strategic thinking - grounded in data and real-world complexity - can lead to more resilient and forward-looking business choices.
“Build Your Own Bain” means creating a thriving career on your own terms. How have you been able to “Build Your Own Bain?”
No two Bainies have the same path - and that’s exactly what makes “Build Your Own Bain” so meaningful to me. After joining, I had the chance to be part of the Private Equity Group (PEG) ringfence, which gave me 9 months of deep exposure to commercial due diligence and investment work. From there, I pivoted to a mix of regional cases spanning financial services, automotive, and consumer products - each one stretching me in different ways.
Now, I’m about to start an experience share transfer to the New York office, continuing to shape my Bain journey with new challenges and development opportunities. For me, building my own Bain means having the freedom to explore, specialize, and grow in ways that align with both my curiosity and long-term goals.
Share some of your favorite work (personal or professional) you’ve done while at Bain.
Some of my favorite experiences at Bain have come from our social impact efforts. Together with a colleague, I helped lead an initiative where we took the office members and a group of underprivileged, art-loving kids to the zoo for an outdoor drawing session. It was a special day that brought everyone together - kids, consultants, and crayons included. At Bain, each of us is given the space, time, and resources to contribute in ways that matter to us, whether that’s driving community initiatives or building the office culture.
