Chris Weibo Liu is a member of our Performance Improvement and Digital Transformation practices, with expertise in the Factory of the Future. He has over 20 years of experience spanning corporate leadership roles and management consulting.
Chris specializes in identifying improvement opportunities and value creation potential, designing operational strategies and action plans, integrating digital solutions, and ensuring seamless execution to unlock full business potential. Throughout the identification, design, and implementation process, he also focuses on optimizing operating models and building organizational capabilities.
Currently, Chris is conducting research on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) across various stages of the product value chain, exploring how AI can be effectively integrated into operations to drive practical advancements.
Before joining us, Chris served as Vice President of Transformation for private equity portfolio companies, leading performance improvement and digital transformation initiatives. He also held roles as a manufacturing process engineer at Procter & Gamble (P&G) and a continuous improvement manager at Mars Wrigley. Over the course of his career, he designed and launched three factories in China, India, and Indonesia and contributed to developing new products and manufacturing processes for leading consumer brands.
Chris holds a Master of Management degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management, an MBA from Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management, and a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
