Christy de Gooyer is a member of our Global Banking Practice.

Christy is responsible for the Banking practice’s knowledge management, operations, marketing and intellectual property development. She leads the development of Bain’s Banking Data Assets and Bain’s annual Global Retail Banking consumer insights surveys.

Christy joined Bain in 1995, and worked for clients in the retail banking, life insurance and asset management industries, as well as the consumer retail and consumer electronics industries.

During Christy’s tenure at Bain she has worked on many types of assignments, including cases in business unit strategy, corporate strategy, customer experience, sales force management, customer retention and retail store experience.

Prior to joining Bain, Christy earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in industrial engineering, with honors, from the University of Toronto. She has an MBA from INSEAD in France, where she graduated with distinction. Christy and her spouse Martin have 4 teenage sons. She enjoys skiing, hiking and running.
