He focuses on working with AMS clients on growth strategy (with particular depth in automotive, commercial trucking, and shipping/logistics) and advising private equity clients on diligence and post-acquisition strategy for AMS assets. He has worked extensively with clients in the automotive industry, including OEMs, suppliers, dealers, and others, on how to respond to disruptive trends such as electrification and autonomous driving.
Diego also has deep expertise working with complex manufacturing organizations with global footprints to drive efficiencies in the manufacturing operations across all their locations and technologies.
In addition to his client work, Diego leads Familia at Bain for the Los Angeles office and is actively involved in the firm’s recruiting efforts.
He holds an MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and an undergraduate degree from Harvard University. Prior to getting his MBA, he worked in design and innovation consulting, where he worked with clients in automotive, technology, and entertainment industries.
In his personal time, Diego enjoys soccer, cooking, skiing, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
