He has more than 15 years of management consulting experience in Mexico and Northern Latin America.
Throughout his consulting career, Eduardo has served clients in the retail and packaged goods, media and entertainment, financial, transportation and energy industries, as well as the public sector. His work in these industries has emphasized corporate strategy, business unit strategy, profit improvement programs and organizational effectiveness.
Eduardo previously served as the managing director of Bain Mexico City, in charge of Bain's operations in the region.
Prior to joining Bain in 2005, Eduardo was a senior partner at another global consulting firm. He also served as president and managing director of EMI Music, a multinational company based in Argentina, where he led a turn around of its operations in the Southern Cone of Latin America. He was also vice president and general manager of a music and entertainment company with operations in Central America.
Eduardo holds an MBA from the Institut pour l'Etude des Methodes de Direction de l'Enterprise (IMEDE), in Lausanne, Switzerland. He received a BS in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, with honors, from the Universidad Iberoamericana, where he graduated at the top of his class. His thesis entitled “Administrative Techniques for Engineers” was published for use as a textbook.
