Eduardo Hütt is the Chairman of Bain & Company in Mexico and Central America. He has more than 25 years of consulting experience in the region.
Throughout his consulting career, Eduardo has served clients in the consumer goods, retail, media & entertainment, oil & gas, transportation and financial industries, as well as the public sector, in Mexico and Central and South America. Eduardo’s work in these industries has emphasized corporate strategy, business unit strategy, profit improvement, full potential programs and organizational effectiveness.
Prior to joining Bain, Eduardo was a senior partner at another top firm; president and managing director of EMI Music, a multinational company based in Argentina, where he led a turn around of its operations in the Southern Cone of Latin America; and vice president and general manager of a music and entertainment company with operations in Central America.
Currently, Eduardo is also a board member of several Latin American companies focused on the consumer goods, retail, housing development, agroindustrial and music industries.
He holds an MBA from the Institut pour l'Etude des Methodes de Direction de l'Enterprise (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland. He also received a B.S. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, with honors, from the Universidad Iberoamericana, where he graduated at the top of his class. His thesis, entitled “Administrative Techniques for Engineers,” was published for use as a textbook.
