Jon van der Veen
Over a decade-plus with us, Jon has advised clients across industries, mostly focused in Retail, Travel and Leisure, and Healthcare. He clients include market leaders across the mass retail, grocery, travel retail, location-based entertainment (e.g., Theme Parks), airlines, and cruise line sub-sectors. He also advises our Private Equity clients on transactions and PE-backed M&A. Jon's recent engagements have involved M&A and Divestitures, pricing, growth strategy, and brand and marketing strategy across these sectors.
Jon is also a leader in our Social Impact practice, with expertise in international development and financial inclusion.
He previously worked for another top consulting firm, where he advised financial services clients. He was also a financial analyst for Quantum. Jon holds an MBA from Georgetown University and bachelor’s degrees in both mathematics and philosophy from the University of Washington.
