Luc Luyten is partner and director in Bain's London office.
Luc has more than 30 years of top management consulting experience. He joined Bain's London office in 1986, where he became a partner in 1988 and a director in 1992. He moved to Brussels in 1994 to open Bain's office there. In 1998, he opened Bain's office in Amsterdam. He served as the managing partner of Bain's Benelux offices until 2003. From 2004, he served as the co-leader of Bain's Industrial Goods & Services practice in EMEA. In 2012, he joined Bain's Middle East and Turkey as managing partner. In 2016, he transferred back to London to become a leader in Bain's Industrial Goods & Services practice in EMEA.
Luc has international experience across a broad range of industries. His client base includes companies in basic material industries, such as steel, cement, base chemicals and paperboard. He has also served a broad client base in building products and the construction sector. In addition, he has served telecommunication clients and selective consumer goods companies across the globe.
Throughout his lengthy career, Luc has developed a deep and broad range of functional skills. His main specialties are corporate and business unit strategy, mergers and acquisitions and organizational performance improvement.
Luc is the author of a number of publications in the areas of change management, international strategy and organizational development.
Before joining Bain, Luc was a senior manager with another leading consulting firm in Brussels and London.
