He has more than 10 years of management consulting experience, advising business leaders on their biggest opportunities and challenges.
Shintaro has worked in a wide range of industries such as private equity, pharmaceutical, consumer products, automobile, construction, industrial goods, finance, outsourcing and distribution. He holds deep expertise in M&A and private equity investment-related projects, including corporate turnaround strategy and blueprinting, post-merger integration, M&A and alliance strategy, full potential and growth strategy and sales force management.
In addition to consulting, Shintaro leads social impact activities in Bain's Tokyo office, which involves leading pro-bono consulting efforts for non-profit organizations with a focus in childcare and youth education.
Prior to joining Bain, he worked at New Business Planning Division for the Central Japan Railway Company.
