Stefano Sironi

Stefano Sironi is a member of our Financial Services practice, with over 20 years of experience at Bain.

His main focus is on performance improvement across financial services (banking, insurance, wealth and asset management). He also contributes to private equity activity in financial services.

He holds deep expertise in different areas: procurement and cost management (strategic cost planning, cost and project governance, source to pay, cost excellence programs, real estate optimization), planning and control (zero base budget and zero base redesign; set up of reporting and KPI systems), organization and operations (organizational improvement, insourcing / outsourcing, shared service centers, end to end process redesign and digitalization, HR optimization).

He manages complex strategic and operational projects in national and multinational environments, often including a success fee-based approach. He has constantly delivered tangible results, driven by strong Bain-client interaction and a result-oriented mindset.

He holds a MSc with Honors from Bocconi University and a MBA from Insead.

He is married, with two kids and a labrador retriever and loves travelling, food and wine.
