Susan Gunn joins Bain & Company as an expert partner in its Performance Improvement and Leadership and Talent practices

WASHINGTON– June 24, 2021 – Bain & Company announced today that Susan Gunn has joined the firm’s Washington DC office, as an expert partner in its Leadership and Talent and Performance Improvement practices to advise leading companies globally on human capital strategies and HR transformations.

Susan brings to the firm more than 25 years of experience in HR leadership and consulting positions. She has deep expertise in building and developing top-performing teams across multiple industries, countries and cultures. She has served as an advisor to executive leaders on matters pertaining to HR strategy and transformation, executive compensation, mergers and acquisitions, and C-suite strategy, including CEO succession.

As a former Chief HR Officer (CHRO), Susan will assist Bain in advising CHROs and other HR leaders on transforming their HR organizations, processes and systems. She will also work closely with the firm’s Leadership and Talent solution in its Results Acceleration practice to help clients develop and execute on their talent strategies.

As we emerge from the pandemic, Susan has used her expertise to help several leading organizations with developing and executing their post-pandemic back-to-work talent strategies. She most recently served as managing director of people advisory services for a Big Four accounting firm, and she brings experience working within a number of leading companies, including Aramark, Gardner Denver, Willis Towers Watson, Revlon and Vivendi Universal.

Susan holds a degree in economics from McGill University.
