"US investors are increasingly optimistic about France’s prospects, according to a survey released this month by the American Chamber of Commerce in France and consultants Bain. Of the companies questioned, 51 per cent expected to hire more staff in the coming years, up from 42 per cent the year before, and nearly two-thirds portrayed France as a good or very good investment destination — partly because of French skills and infrastructure but also because of doubts about the outlook for other major European economies such as Germany and the UK."
