Working sustainably can be a challenge at any stage of your career, but for consultants who want a lasting and successful career journey, it’s something you must do. Whitney White, Bain alum and founder of Take Back Your Time – a coaching program that helps executives live up to their full potential – is helping leaders learn how to manage tasks, focus on what’s important, and create the lives they desire.

Whitney started entrepreneurship at an early age tutoring students in high school. Learning that she wanted to help others, she decided to study anthropology at Davidson College and plan to become a lawyer. After learning that the legal route may not be for her, she decided to apply to Bain after being introduced to consultancy by a friend in her scholarship program.

Whitney’s time at Bain gave her the experience and toolkit to jump into what she enjoyed most – entrepreneurship and helping her peers. Her time in consulting and as a business owner gave her firsthand experience of the challenges of working sustainably, which she now is dedicated to helping others accomplish.

Whitney joins us to conclude our health and wellness series. We will always prioritize the wellbeing of our Bainies, and encourage you to listen to previous episodes of this series including Candid Conversations: Why We Need to Discuss Mental Health in the Workplace, Worker Wellbeing: Bain’s Intentional Focus on Helping Employees Work SustainablyandThe Future of Work: New Ways of Working in a Post-pandemic Workforce.
