Alexandre Valadares is a member of the Enterprise Technology and Financial Services practices.

He has worked with top management of large national and multinational groups, mainly in financial services, retail, resources, education and healthcare industries in Brazil and abroad.

He has deep experience leading IT transformation projects in large companies, working mainly on complex enterprise and technical architecture challenges. His experience comprises strategy technology areas as IT strategy planning, IT cost optimization, enterprise architecture, application optimization, hybrid cloud architectures designing, cloud migration & modernization planning; and technical areas such as non-functional requirements implementation (performance, recoverability, security, availability), digital decoupling techniques, devsecops, microservices architectures, APIs, systems development, analytics, AI and others.

Before joining Bain, Alexandre worked at a top IT & strategy consulting firm for +>15 years, where he led the Brazilian enterprise and technical architecture team (~120 highly skilled professionals) and executed projects for clients from several industries, working mostly with large multinational companies. 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from São Paulo University, an executive MBA in Business Management from ESPM, and several professional certificates from Microsoft, AWS, ISE Business School, Accenture and MIT.
