Ben Charles

Ben Charles is an expert in the firm's Energy & Natural Resources, Mining and Performance Improvement practices.

He has more than 10 years of management consulting experience, working with senior executives and management teams to address their most pressing strategic issues.

Ben is focused on industrial goods and services, with a particular focus on capital intensive industries. He advises clients on issues such as performance improvement, capital deployment strategy and major project optimization, as well corporate and business unit strategy throughout both North and South America. In addition, Ben has deep experience in merger integration, supply chain strategy and private equity.

Prior to joining Bain in 2004, Ben worked as a development engineer at Pratt & Whitney Canada and as a senior project engineer and maintenance manager at Alcan.

Ben holds an MBA from Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering from Queen's University.
